Detecting colors in Outlook 2003 messages

Hi all,
How can I detect colors and color changes in Outlook 2003 messages when reading
through message?
Messages are in html.
I am using the latest version of Jaws 8.
The reason I need is because some people where I work send out a message with
notes from meetings. The action items are in green. In
future we may have other codes, like yellow.
