Hasn't that site been up for about 3 or 4 years. I remember a buddy
giving me the URL (I no longer have it) to check out. You could go on
line and compose short messages (I think you were limited to 600 or
700K) for the voice of your choice, and save them. I used the service
for a talking birthday card, and found Crystal a real winner. There
were more than two samples available then, but she was a standout. I've
still got that file, but I think it's on a Zip disk, worse luck.

Try using either the AT&T natural voice Mike or Crystal as your selected
voice when making a converted mp3 file using TextAloud. I find these
two
voices Mike and Crystal quite clear and smooth sounding. They are not
choppy. You can listen to sample recordings of these voices on the same
web
site that you purchase them from which is the web site nextup.com
