I use cvs for such a thing, but that may be the tool you're looking for. I use
it because we use it for development and someone else set it up, a royal pain
for the novis.  You can try onproject.com, if they're still around.  Though you
don't have version controll.

Hello Listers:
I occasionally am called upon to work on documents colaboratively, e.g.,
on-screen with three or four other people.  All can see the edits being made
live.  I fear this is going to become more popular and would like to be able to
participate.
Has anyone on the list successfully used such a product?  If so, I would like to
know which product works best.  Actually, at this point, I would just like to
find one that works at all.
