What I do is go into the CTRL pannel, in the search type in notification,
tab to the notification area ICONS link, press enter, shift-tab until I hear
java tm update checker and make sure its set to show ICONS and notifications
and tab to ok.
This way when I hear that message, I jump to the system tray and proceed and
I am done.

I also have the same problem but the update will not go.
I would like to disable the update notice as it is a genuine nuisance.
I am running W7, 64 bit, Office 2007, JAWS 11, latest build and MSE.

Periodically I get a message saying that a JAVA update is available - click
here to continue.
I try in vain with the JAWS Cursor to find where *here is.
Can someone tell me how to deal with this situation?
