Clarification re. selecting

Just a bit of clarification on this selections issue. There are two ways 
of looking at it. When you first move onto a list, and hold down control 
without hitting any arrows, then hitting the space bar, you are in fact 
selecting that item, because when you just move onto a list by tabbing to 
it or whatever, no item is selected. But if you tab to a list and then 
start arrowing through it, you are selecting the item you arrow to, so 
holding the control key down and hitting spacebar at that point deselects 
the item.
