Tom, Happens to me all the time. First of all, I note that the shutdown of Excel and MS-word takes longer than other applications like Notepad. Second, I just press the Windows + M to minimize all to the desktop and I get to the desktop. It's become a habit to do that a lot. I have a nagging problem with Jaws 11, that I could use some help with. On my Dell Lattitude 610 laptop computer, with Windows XP, I often completely loose Jaws when exiting out of applications like Microsoft Word and Outlook Express. I don't understand why this happens, nor do I know how to get Jaws back once it's lost, which causes me to have to do a hard shut-down of the computer when the problem occurs. Any helpful suggestions here would be appreciated. Thanks!
