Many thanks, Dean! Thsi helps! Jeff ----- Original Message ----- From: Dean Martineau To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Sunday, October 08, 2006 11:21 AM Subject: RE: Braille & Tab Key Hi, Jeff. You actually have a lot of control over what key combination on your display does what. If you don't like the ones they've assigned, you can change them, or add another. Figure out what key you want to use for tab. It's ok if it's a keystroke already assigned to something else as long as it isn't one you tend to use; you're in charge here. Then go into Keyboard Manager, into the default file, and arrow to the tab key in the list of keystrokes. There will probably be more than one key assigned to activate tab. Choose add keystroke from the actions menu and hit the keystroke on your display you want to use for tab. You may have to argue with JAWS to convince it that you really want to override the original assignment if there was one. Then save the changes. This is the brief description. If you need more help, I or somebody else can provide it. Dean
