Money Talks is a new, innovative bank account management software package
developed by the American Printing House for the Blind. It provides unparalleled
access to computer-based bank account management, printing and Braille
embossing of the check register, and writing checks in a variety of sizes and

vision and works well both for computer novices and computer wizards. The
CD version (with high quality speech) costs $49.00 and the downloadable version

User's Guide that is both self-spoken and available in html;
A spoken, on-screen check register for recording all details of bank
transactions;
Support for multiple accounts;
Cleared and running balances spoken with a keystroke;
Built-in speech making a screen reader unnecessary in order to use the program;
Option to turn off built-in speech and use a screen reader instead;
User selection of font type and size;
User selection and arrangement of register columns;
Widening or narrowing of columns as you go;
Ability to import bank transaction information downloaded in QIF format from
the bank;
Simple methods for reconciling the user register with information from the bank
statement or the bank download;
Ability to schedule recurring transactions;
Categories and subcategories for transactions, both built-in and user-defined;
Powerful find features;
Summaries for category and for credit-debit;
Split transactions among categories;
Printing check register in the user's choice font type and size;
Embossing the check register on either 11.5 inch wide or 8.5 inch wide Braille
paper;
Selecting sections of the register to be printed or embossed;
Writing check-book checks for check sizes supported by user's printer;
