I do have the scan soft ones, but for some reason NVDA sort of twist the sound a bit. They don't sound... well, natural. However, with openbook and jaws, they work as good, although not as resposive as real speak solo direct.

Yadiel, The voices that work with OpenBook 8 and earlier do work with other screen readers. They are the scansoft voices and not the realspeak solo direct voices. You will not find anything to match them for free on the net. They're not that expensive though. Cepstral, NeoSpeech and Nuance voices are about $30 to $150 a voice. That's not too much really. I do, however, know of some sapi 4 voices you might be interested in. Do a Google search for L&H voices. I think it's Lernet and Haupt but not sure. Anyway, they are now free. They are no where near the quality of the realspeak solo direct voices but they come in several languages and are not too terribly bad. Jaws works very well with them.
