well, you could export them to a CSV file,
then when you update to the latest windows live, you then could import them
from your saved file.

Dear list members as my subject says I would like some tips and tricks to be
able to do this. I really want to update to The latest version of Windows Live
Mail and other programmes that come with it meaning the 2011 version to be able
to take advantage of the FaceBook Chat feature.
I am worried that if I upgrade I might lose all of my email contacts in the
process. So I would like to know how I can back them up. Obviously I could do
them manually copying and pasting them into a word document but I was wondering
is there a more quicker and swifter way of doing this with contacts? I am using
JSW 12 Windows Vista Home Premium and Windows Live Mail 2009
