I did find a slightly unrelated note on this in the faq section of the
freedom site that referrs to "jaws 4.x+" with adobe reader 6.01 so it seems
that jaws 4.02 should work with adobe reader 6.01.

you need windows.98 se and above and you need jaws 4.50 I think and above.

Just a quickie, are there issues with Adobe 6 and earlier Jaws versions or,
come to that, Windows 98?
I have not had good luck with Adobe 4.5 or 5, crippled though they are I am
not sure I want to go Adobe 6 unless there is some assurance of success.
