as I explained as clearly as I could earlier., my problem isn't what you're 
describing.  If you like, I'll forward to you the message I'll get soon 
after I send this one to the list, so you can see what I mean.  I don't 
think it will have something to do with the Freelists server.

After a brief conversation with the server administrator, the conclusion
was reached that the mail errors people were receiving are due to a
misconfiguration of an external mail server. Essentially, someone's server
(not freelists) is trying to redirect the email back to jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
which, obviously, isn't gonna happen. So now, I have the fun task of
figuring out who's email server went whacky and asking them nicely (or, if
needed, not so nicely) to fix it. In the meantime... please do keep
forwarding me the errors you get. Just in case there's more than one 
problem.
