Admin: A reminder on Autoresponders

All,
Due to the number of users on the list, and to save bandwidth on everyone's
email server including the server the list is running on, I'll ask that,
due to the holidays, everyone takes care to insure automatic reply messages
generated by work, or other such vacation services, don't interfere with
list activity. Meaning, a message sent to the list must not trigger the
automatic reply. If for any reason you are unable to adjust your
autoresponder(s) accordingly, it is recommended that you place yourself on
nomail (vacation) status until you can attend your email on your own. If
this poses a problem, I will place people on vacation status. To engage the
vacation setting, send an email to jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with "set
vacation" in the subject line. NOTE: don't include quotations. When you
return, simply replace "set" with "unset" to remove vacation mode.
Otherwise, have a pleasant holiday, whatever it is you cellebrate.
