Chris, I found I had to label these graphics before JAWS would read them back. You need to know the status of at least one of the rules before the method below will work. Here are the keystrokes I did while on the Rules and Alerts dialogue: Insert + V to get the Adjust JAWS Verbosity dialogue. G to jump to the Graphics Verbosity setting. SpaceBar to set it to All. Enter to close the dialogue. Navigate to the rule whose status you know. Insert + NumPad minus to route the JAWS to the PC cursor. LeftArrow to the graphic - I had to press LeftArrow twice to get there. Insert + G to open the Graphics labeller, and replace the current number with a more meaningful message. If you use a Braille display, Tab to the next edit and put another label in there. Enter to Ok out of the dialogue. NumPad plus to revert to the PC cursor. Set the graphics verbosity back to labelled, and you should find now the status message you gave is vocalised as you move through the list. You could choose to label both active and inactive rules, or just have one labelled and then infer the status of a rule that doesn't give that label. When I go to the tools then choose "Rules and alerts...", the list of rules is displayed in the "e-mail rules" tab but jaws won't tell me the status "Enabled/Disabled" or each rule. How can I know this status please? Many thanks in advance. Have a nice day.
