Acrobat Reader problem with large files

Hello,
With some pdf files when I try to read them JAWS says that the document is
too large and that I should make sure "deliver data in pages" is checked in
the accessibility options and set pages to 10.
Deliver data in pages is checked and pages is set to 10. Does anyone know
why I still can't read these files?
I'm using Acrobat Reader 5 and JAWS 4.5 on Windows ME.
