Ace FTP?

Hi All,
Has anybody ever used an FTP program called ACE FTP? If so is it Jaws
friendly?
I just heard from the lady at the company that I may be getting a job with
that uses FTP to transfer the medical transcription reports and she says
that an FTP program is required because it's not safe to transfer something
like that using IE and she said that the one that she recommends is ACE FTP.
I've never heard of it though so I need to find out if it will be usable for
me or not.
