Hi.
        Have a look at
                http://members.aol.com/adamkb/aol/mailfaq/imap/
for answers to your questions about servers and passwords, as well
as which address goes where.

I'm sorry I didn't let you know that I am trying to set her email up in
Outlook Express but none of the AOL techs have been very helpful. They
are not giving me the pop info. Does AOL use pop info in the
traditional manner? If we have a T1 do I leave our info? I tried that
and ran into a problem. The questions are:
Who's email address goes where? I have three to work with, hers, her
sisters (the main account email address) and ours which lead to the
actual connection. I

Al;so, does AOL use a secure password? Guess I'all ask them if I can
get some assistance.

Thanks,

Jennifer

Hi.
I concur with the below post's suggestion of using Outlook/OE or
Eudora. However, AOL does not support any version of the POP protocol,
but only supports the IMAP protocol. For PC-based programs like Eudora
or Outlook/OE, there is no problem. However, there is a serious one with
devices like the Braillenote, which don't use IMAP, so it's inaccurate
to say that AOL supports POP. For more information about AOL's
industry-standard support, see

Hi. Why not just have her use Outlook or Eudora or whatever and have
her mail go in that way? You can now do that with AOL as they now
support pop mail servers.

what information to stick where? She is using Jaws.
