Try turning off the virtual cursor with JAWS key Z. This is a bug on Mozilla's part I thinnk, and the upcoming Thunderbird 3 should fix this.

Does any one use Thunderbird? I've tried it using the demo version of Jaws 9.0 and when I try to compose a message and read what I've typed the arrow keys don't seem to work properly. I've even tried to create a configuration file but for some reason it reverts back to the default settings. It's probably operator error.I must say I like what I see so far with the demo. I'm trying it out for a future job I'm waiting to start and I'll be using Jaws with Braille.Bill -- JFW related links: JFW homepage: http://www.freedomscientific.com/Scripting mailing list: http://lists.the-jdh.com/listinfo.cgi/scriptography-the-jdh.comJFW List instructions: To post a message to the list, send it to jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxxTo unsubscribe from this mailing list, send a message to jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the subject line.Archives located at: //www.freelists.org/archives/jfwIf you have any concerns about the list, post received from the list, or the way the list is being run, do not post them to the list.
