6.10 won't read selected items

When selecting several items in a list, such as perhaps wanting to select
several songs to be opened, version 6.10 will not name the items as I'm
arrowing down the list with control key pressed. In other words, in earlier
versions of jaws you hold your control key down and arrow through your list
and space on items to be selected. Well with 6.10, as I'm arrowing through
my items it may only say 4 of 1000 or 5 of 1000 but it doesn't speak the
title of the items I'm trying to select. When I installed 6.10 I merged
settings so you'd think the config manager would be the same as 6.0, which
speaks each item just fine as I'm selecting. But 6.10 isn't doing this so
hope someone knows what I need to change. Thanks.
