The thing that bugs me the most is that they don't seem to publicize when
they make changes to the scripting language. It's a wonder anyone finds the
additions at all. I'd bet finding out about the collection datatype, for
instance, was an accident for whoever first discovered it outside those who
work for Freedom Scientific. If I'm wrong about this documentation issue, I
yearn to be set straight. Nothing would make me happier than to be publicly
proven wrong on this so I could benefit from the same.

I thought someone had attempted to start a scripting repository a while
back, but I didn't find it when I searched. Nonvisualdevelopment.org has
stepped up to the plate fairly well as a general repository of sorts.

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep His
commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every
work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether
it be evil. (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14)

Hi,
They don't want to maintain such a resource.

That is an interesting thing to me considering that it has always been the
scripting feature which has been promoted as making Jaws the most flexible
of the screen reading solutions.

I would have thought this feature would be the most highly promoted not only
for it's obvious utility but by harnessing the thousands of users out there
many with little else to do scripts could be developed as to some extent
they already are, for literally thousands of applications at little or no
cost to Freedom Scientific.

They could even have set up a scripting store like Apple, checking and
vetting and improving submitted scripts for redistribution either as part of
their upgrades or for individual use. Most people probably don't want
scripts for all those bible applications using up room on their computers
for example so not all would probably need distribution with each
installation of Jaws.

What ever the case, you would think it in the best interest of Freedom
Scientific to get as many high quality script writers out there as they can
possibly encourage.
