Is there possibility to switch to LaTex style output? (like x^2 \cdot
\frac{2}{z}). There where something similar if i remember correctly. I have
used this package a lot years ago.

I am working with the developers of a program used for performing symbolic math
calculations. The Program is WXMaxima (available on SourceForge).

Anyway, although there is a command line version of the program (simply called
Maxima) that is reasonably workable with JAWS, WXMaxima is the GUI version and,
for sighted people at least, is a lot more intuitive and easy to use.
The WXMaxima uses WXWidgets and the developer tried to add the WXWidgets
accessibility hooks when I indicated that JAWS was not reading any of the input
and output text displayed in the interface. Apparently all input and output is
sent to the screen as graphics (so that the math looks "Pretty" to a sighted
person). I'm wondering if there is any way I can use a JAWS script to gather
any textual information that might be associated with this graphical
input/output so that a JAWS user can actually use this program.
Alternately is there anything I can ask the developer to do in order to make
WXMaxima accessible with JAWS?
Currently, as I said, JAWS is not seeing any input/output when running the
default JAWS scripts.
