Yes, using the internet explorer com object you can check the url to see if the file is loaded and check for the loaded state. if you need examples I have them that I used for spotify. John MartynIn a project I have scripted for, I am retrieving data from a URL using Brian G's J-Fetch script utility which works very well. However, if the file on the server contains new data, I am finding that the older data is being spoken by jaws. This is because the IE browser has already cached the file and so it is not looking for the fresh occurrence of it. If I delete the browsing history, it all works fine. Is there a way to force IE to look for the new instance of the file rather than having to clear the cache? It may just be a setting in IE which I am missing that may deal with this. Thanks.
