Thanks Travis. I did some modification at my end, to change the highlighted
color to white,and then I applied what you suggested.
It worked!!

Before trying a true scripting solution, you should first try setting a
Custom Highlight to see if that is enough for JAWS to track the focus.
Place the JAWS cursor on the highlighted row, then press JAWSKey+f2and
select the "custom highlight assign" option.
Oftentimes, this is enough to guide JAWS in these situations.
If that does not work then other more script coding oriented solutions will
have to be looked at.

Hi,
I have a situation where a window titled Selection list pops up with rows
of details. The background is gray and the foreground is black.
When the first row is selected, the foreground changes to navy blue. On
using down arrow, the next row gets selected(by the foreground changing to
navy blue).
Can someone help me with a script to read the contents of the row selected,
as i am pretty new to JAWS scripting.
