Well, the person I wrote the scripts for was using the portable JAWS since
it used less RAM but so she could use the scripts she did install JAWS and
everything is working well now. She had tried putting all the files in the
right places but was still getting errors with the portable version. So all
is well.

No idea, really. Don't have much experience with portable jaws.
I expect it can be made to work. But, the installer may well not handle it.
If it is depending on registry info, it will probably not find it there for
the portable version.

ooooh! Good question! I certainly haven't as yet ever tried doing HSC things
on portible jaws installations, and am very unfamiliar with the process
generally.
Jim would you have any comments on this one? At present I'm rather at sea
