[jaws-uk] Re: winding back my version

Here's another disappointed user who's reverted back to jfw 9. The auto forms
mode is a pain because as already said, it's inconsistent.

I also had issues of the pc just locking up and hanging when working on the net
or in Word. This problem has now gone.... So far anyway.

Hi David,

I am totally underwhelmed by Jaws 10.

I have a serious focus problem. Very often on web pages, and tabbing from
button to button, Jaws reports the button I have just left rather than the
one I am on. OK, I do a screen refresh, but it all gets a bit complicated,
when the page concerned is of a financial nature.

I also find the new forms mode cursor very unreliable. It works great some
of the time, but not all.

I'm just hoping the next version of Jaws will address these problems, even
at the cost of £125.

With best wishes,

Keith

Hi all:

I wonder if anyone else has been overcome with frustration with V10 as I
have.

Poor focussing which seems to be random having closed an application and
opening another. Also not consistently focussing on the desktop when that
application has closed.

Also, the auto switch to 'forms mode on' is seemingly inconsistent.

Now using V9 with happiness.
