Amie and all,
I've been on Windows 10 since it's inception really but I did have
Waterfox on my old pc of Windows 7 before I upgraded. As far as I can
remember, it worked fine on that platform.
I suppose my advice would be to google the waterfox browser, go read
through it's blab.... I'm sure it would be a real good alternative
browser to have close to hand.
Stay safe and well everyone,
Robin

Hi Robin and list--
That was extremely helpful to me too; thank you. I'm currently using an
unsatisfactory mixture of Firefox and Chrome, with JAWS 16 and Windows 07.
Would I be able to use Waterfox with that, please?

Kevin and all,
I use chrome as my default browser but I also have Waterfox on my system
which I use frequently. It is linked to the Firefox family but has been
developed by a volunteer group keen to help the screen reader community.
I can't give real examples but often, chrome will not see things on the
screen like pop up windows or lists and options etc, but when I go to
Waterfox, I can see them clearly.
Ok here is an example. In this current coronavirus time, I am fortunate to
have an annual delivery pass with Asda. However, in chrome, I wanted to
create a recurring weekly delivery slot and couldn't find anything to click.
In Waterfox, when I selected my delivery slot, the pop up window came up
right away asking if I would like to set this delivery as a recurring slot,
either weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Bingo I am sorted now through these
trying times, I will get my shopping delivered.
I find chrome pretty good but it does have it's problems when other windows
or side bars/ date pickers etc need to be accessed.
Bottom line is, Waterfox is good with Jaws, well worth installing and
playing around with. If you have Firefox, you can easily import all your
favourites if you have them as well.
hth, Robin
