[jaws-uk] unwanted synbol

hi all
just yesterday, well i think, it could have been there longer, at the bottom
right of my screen there has appeared a symbol in the shape of a little
figure. this figure keeps trying to give me tips or hints, however i think
it is interfering with the speech.
jaws 5 and windows home xp.
