Hi Can not find that macro, which would be really useful if someone can send
it.
When I change view to normal and immediately save the document, it reverts
to print layout view on reopening.

putting your document in normal view and the zoom factor to 100% should fix
the issue.

for a Macro the late Ms. Debby came up with that automatically put Word into
normal view to optimize reading.
