Not tried them, but Thunderbird and Microsoft Outlook should work comfortably with JAWS under Windows 7.

Hi all. I wonder if anyone can help? I want to install windows 7 and still be able to download pop mail but on this machine at least I do not have Office. what can I use for an email client that actually works? JAWS certainly seems to be very slow inproviding decent support for Windows Live Mail and I wonder whether this isa JAWS problem or a poorly written mail client that cannot easily be scripted. I want to try Windows 7 but don't want to lose the ability to download and read email as a result.
