Dear Linda

The first thing would suggest if your PC is connected to the Internet is
run through the activation wizard choose the "now using the Internet"
option for activation , on the next screen it will prompt you for an
authorisation, if you inserted an authorisation CD into the machine this
number should be there. Press ENTER to proceed from that point and note
any error message that you get if indeed that is the case, normally JAWS
will tell you the process has finished and activation has been
successful.

If you let us know the error message (and its number) then it should be
possible to determine the cause of it.

In case you have further problems please mail into
support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx rather than the list giving us your serial
number and if possible your Windows operating system. We can then start
to analyse further what the issue may be.

Regards.

Subject: [jaws-uk] how do I get out of demo mode?

A few days ago someone installed JAWS 11 for me. He carefully followed
the instructions and everything seemed to be okay, yet I keep getting a
message that the program is only in 40 minute demo mode. I've asked him
to check the settings and he says its all in order so far as he can
tell, so what else can he do?

Thanks in advance

Lynda
