Do you mean Linked in? I've had similar requests and have seen it on
legitimate websites too so I think it does exist.

Subject: [jaws-uk] has anyone used likedin

Over the last few months, I have received Emails from people on my Email
contact list, asking me to join, Likedin.
I wondered if anyone on this list has come across this name. I have done
some search on Google, and it seems like it is a legitimate contact list.

When I have looked at the profiles of the various invitees who have invited
me to join, I can't find anything to persuade me otherwise in not being a
skam. being the information they are giving me, has never been talked about
within previous Emails that have transpired between us. For example, where
they live, the work they do or, what company they work for.

I would be interested to know if anyone else has received, or known anyone
else receiving such Emails.
