Hi,

Don't know what you mean by calculating square metres, from what? If you're 
trying to convert square yards into square metres or whatever, just google it.

Basically, multiply the length by the breadth.... 10 metres wide by 4 metres 
wide, = 40 square metres.

But for more complex calculations on an Excel sheet, here's an example:

A1 = 10.25 length
A2 = 4.15 breadth

Go to cell A3 and hit the = sign, then type (a1*a2) and hit enter,

A3 will show the answer, 42.5375
