That's very strange. When you launch the context menu when the cursor is at the
position of the comment, you should have 'Edit comment' and 'Reply to comment'
as options. This works in 2013 and 2010. Unless the process is different for
2016. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Regards,
LU

Hi,

many thanks for this. but when I apply shift+f10 it gives me a context menue
that has only the option of 'new comment', but no option to edit comment again.
in addition, if you could simply tel any option to access the reply to a
comment bouttne on the write side of the comment pain?
with best regards

Hi,

If the cursor position is on the comment, you should be able to launch
the context menu (Press application key or Shift + F10) and there
should be a 'Edit comment' option. I'm not running Word 2016 but this
works in all the prior versions of Word. The JAWS training link below
has some tips for accessing comments, if you don't already know them. HTH.

Subject: [jaws-uk] editing an already existing comment in word?

Hi all!
I am running a tight deadline  from my reviewer who want me to respond
to his comments within the same comment bubbles  in which he has
highlighted problem. I do not know how to write (edit) within an
already existing comment, the only options that I get in my word (2016
are insurt, ad, and delete comment.
can anyone quickly help with the procedure of how to edit an already
existing comment in MS word?
thanking in advance.
