Hi Joan, I'm not Adrian but I think that these notes might help you. When you click on a link to a download on SourceForge, you are presented with a page containing a number of mirrors from where you may download the file. Normally, one chooses a link to the mirror site which is geographically closest to you. Each link to a mirror site is, in terms of Jaws speech at least, preceded by a check box which you need to check for the site you want. Having chosen the site, you are taken to a page which attempts to download the file but contains a message indicating that if the download does not start, to click the link associated with the message. The sound which you probably heard is most likely a popup which you can read by pressing alt+n, that is n for number rather than m for mouse; then press the space bar. Now you will be given a menu from which you may choose download. Press enter on download and your download should start as normal. I think my problem is a general one. I am not allowed to download it as MS gives me a message that it might contain problems or similar wording and there is a sound played. Obviously I want to alter the settings to stop this happening but I don't know which settings to alter. I've found this problem with other sites too and it's a nuisance. Any help would be appreciated. Best wishes, Joan. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Adrian Higginbotham" <adrian.higginbotham@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, July 19, 2006 9:32 AM Subject: [jaws-uk] Re: a quesion regarding FS reader daisy books on CD and Jaws version 7.10 > Try a free daisy reader such as AMIS from http://amis.sourceforge.net/ = > instead and save yourself the money. > =20 > > > Adrian Higginbotham > Accessibility and inclusion adviser > British Educational Communications and Technology Agency - BECTA > Tel: Direct dial 024 7679 7333 - Internal extension #2287 > Email: Adrian.Higginbotham@xxxxxxxxxxxx > Web: http://www.becta.org.uk/ > BECTA, Millburn Hill Road, Science Park, Coventry, CV4 7JJ=20 > -----Original Message----- > From: jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] = > On Behalf Of Tristram Llewellyn > Sent: 18 July 2006 15:29 > To: jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: [jaws-uk] Re: a quesion regarding FS reader daisy books on CD = > and Jaws version 7.10 > > No. you can only do this with the full version, price aproximately =A345 = > in the UK. > Regards. > > Tristram Llewellyn > Sight and Sound Technology > Technical Support > www.sightandsound.co.uk > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Alexander Shannon > To: jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Sent: Tuesday, July 18, 2006 3:12 PM > Subject: [jaws-uk] a quesion regarding FS reader daisy books on CD and = > Jaws version 7.10 > > > Hi all, > > Just a quick question regarding the above.
