Tabbing through links also reads the links if you turn off the JAWS virtual
cursor.

Subject: [jaws-uk] Unable to tab between links in latest jaws

Hi,
as most of you know, there was an update to jaws 13 a few days ago. Ever
since I’ve applied the update, I’m unable to tab through the links
within a message in windows live mail. In stead of announcing name/contence
of the link, jaws just says “read only”. There is a workaround where one
can press the “read line” – insert + 8 – and then jaws does read the
link on which focus is set to, but as you can imagine that slows the
proccess down quite significantly.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Remember this only seems to affect the
very latest version and if so has anyone found any better solution than read
line command one?

I have contacted freedom scientific technical support regarding this issue.
So far they have responded by telling me to set jaws to it’s default by
deleting all the personalised settings, but this has not resolved the issue
and I have communicated this to them, so we’ll see what happens, but I
thought I’d give it a shot on writing about this on here too to see if
anyone else is experiencing such problems.
