It should be Control+C to copy and then Control+V to paste.
Control+X is for moving a file.

Hello List,
Something rather strange is going on!...I have been trying to copy a file
from My Documents into a main folder.
This is what I have been doing.
Highlighting the file, then control X, then I have found the folder and done
Control C. Usually this works perfectly, what am I doing wrong!...
