I am very saddened by the news of Tom's passing. Glad to hear he died in bed
and maybe just slept away. God bless him, he was a lovely man.
You can take comfort though in knowing that your call to the Police resulted in
his being found quickly.

Hi all,
It is with great sadness I have to let you know that Tom Lorimer, of the
world famously visited website, www.whitestick.co.uk has sadly passed
away. We were in daily contact with Tom via Skype and on Tuesday night,
he bid night night feeling unwell. Yesterday, we didn't hear from him at
all and last evening I decided to phone 101 to just make sure he was Ok.
After a few exchanges with the police, they broke down his door with the
assistance of a joiner and found Tom in his bed. I truly hope he left us
in no pain.
Tom was a fantastic man, he inspired me to get involved in building
websites with my association with the blind golf community but most of
all, he was a real pal, we will miss him big time!
I'm sure Tom has had an influence on so many people in this forum.
Rest in peace big fella, you are immortal!
