Sorry, I don't have a solution but I have also had very similar symptoms
with Jaws 9 - I've never experienced this same issue in earlier versions of
Jaws.
Having said that, one of the difficulties that I can envisage is that it
doesn't always happen in the same circumstances.
If anyone has any ideas, it would be very useful to know about.

Jaws 9, Windows XP, Outlook 2002
Since installing Jaws 9, I am experiencing strange behaviour in Outlook
2002, and 2000, before that.
Jaws behaves very strangely when using the shift+Right arrow to read words.
I give an example:
The line should read:
With all good wishes, followed by a comma,
Jaws says:
h a, l go, d wish, s comma.
Reading it backwards, it says the same.
I've noticed that this strange behaviour happens after I've done a save in
the message.
Any idea what's happening, please.
