Hi Rex,
Internet Explorer 8 works fine with JFW v11.
Chrome is a web browser from Google. It's also an Operating System they've
just released. As far as I am aware neither of these work with JAWS.
Good call on banning sighted mates from your computer! Not only can they
mess things up on you that makes JAWS read funny but some have a tendency to
install all sorts of games and dodgy stuff.
Feel free to ask anything whatsoever regarding JFW on here. I'm a Microsoft
Certified Professional and never consider myself an expert, no one knows
everything about computers. It's impossible as it's a constantly changing
area.
If you want more computer questions answered you might consider joining the
access-uk email list. Shout if you'd like a step by step on how to do this.
Though it's very similar to this list. Instead of using jfw-uk you just use
access-uk.
