[jaws-uk] Re: Read only Edit

Good afternoon Dorothy.
I am using a desktop pc with Jaws8 and Windows xp home edition and got rid 
of the problem as follows:
In the Jaws main window, the one you get by pressing INSERT+J, I press the 
left hand ALT key to open the menu. With the down arrow I go to BASICS. Here 
I press ENTER. I find then three radio buttons. I check the bottom one, the 
one which says ANNOUNCE CUSTOM MESSAGES ONLY. After that I tab and tab until 
I get to the OK button and press ENTER and that's it!
