Hi,

Which version of Office are you using?

I had a problem with Office 2016 professional and had to get Fredom
scientific to compile a couple of config files for the spell checker to work
in word.

By the way, when you press F7 to run the spell  checker in word, if nothing
appears to happen try Jaws key plus F7 together although this did not work
for me.

Regards,

Ismail

Subject: [jaws-uk] Problems when using spell check in windows 10 with jaws
2019

Hi everyone,
i don't normally post on here as I am quite a confident JFW user, however I
have a problem which I hope someone can assist with.
Basically, I have recently aquired a windows 10 PC along with latest Jaws
2019 (was a windows 7 user before and used ms office 2010) Now yesterday I
wanted to spell check an MS 2007 word document but couldn't get Jfw to read
the suggesttions list out and then word stopped working altogether.
Thankfully I didn't lose my work.
However when I ran Nvda that read spell check suggesttions ok.
So does anyone know how to make JFW read them, as due to me using the
Duxbury Braille translator I use JFW as my primary screen reader.
Any suggesttions would be very much appreciated Regards
