Seem to recall a message on one of the uk access tech liss a few months ago
saying that latter versions of open office do work to some degree with
screenreaders provided that you tick the accessibility options checkbox
somewhere within the options settings but that for obvous reasons you will need
assistance access this control in order to enable it.

Meant to try it for myself but didn't get around to it at the time - let us
know how you get on if you try it.

Subject: [jaws-uk] OpenOffice.org Jaws accessible?

Hi all

Apologies for the cross posting.

OpenOffice.org was presented as a free applicagion with the latest Java update.
It is microsoft word compatible.

Anyone using this successfully with Jaws 9?

Thanks
