They are in separate windows. so you can delete a message from the inbox,
but if you've still got it open, it will still be there to read till you
shut it off.

I believe the main OE window which contains your Inbox, Outbox etc, is
separate to the actual window the message is displayed in. Therefore,
maximizing the main Window won't help if you want the message Window
automatically in this state. I stand corrected here though if this isn't the
case.

Modi, I did what you suggested, but I'm afraid, it didn't work, the email
messages are still opening in normal mode.
I went back in to OE, and the Maximised option was still selected. Are you

Go to your oe icon on your start menu, press the context menu key,
arrow
up/down to send to and enter. Select shortcut to desktop, enter.
You did it. Now go to your desktop and you must find the oe icon there.
then, press alt+enter for properties, tab some times until you hear run
this program, and then select in that combobox the maximise and taba to
apply and enter. you did it.

You don't need any shortcut for oe in order to mqaximise the oe
window. You should simply highlight oe on your desktop and then use
the
alt+enter for properties
tab until you hear, run this program it is maybe on normal, arrow
down
to maximize, tab to apply and enter.
Yes, you must have an icon for oe on your desktop. after you do this
procedure, you can delete this shortcut on your desktop if you don't
want it, there.
