Hi, Tom,
I've got the num pad on the right, the top row has 4 keys on, the top left
is marked clear, then / * -
I was most surprised too and to be honest didn't think to check when I
bought the keyboard with the computer as I just presumed all keyboards had a
num lock on them.
I'll get my daughter to give me the model number and will certainly Google
it.

Hi Sharon,
Hard to believe that a desktop keyboard doesn't have a numblock.
Try your numb pad keys. Look for a separate block of keys on the right side
of the keyboard. Second row down is probably 789. Press the keys above that
and see what you get. Otherwise try and get the model number for the
keyboard and google it for its functions.

It's a dell desktop. Only just got it.
It came with a dell USB multi media keyboard with numpad, but no numlock, so
I can't use the numpad for jaws commands.

I have a row of numbers as well as a numpad, but the numpad is set to
numbers with no lock to turn off.

Hi. There is an option in jaws to turn off numlock on startup and there is
usually an option in the bios to boot with numlock off, however these only
help if you have a row of numbers as well as the numpad. I guess the only
other option is a usb keyboard oi usb numpad that has its own capslock.
