  Jaws stutter,
Robin, obviously you must have solved the problem or are using another
computer? I had this problem some years ago, in fact I still have the
audio tape Made of Jaws doing this. I sat next to a Technicannian, who
worked
every trick he knew to try and stop it, in all some 5 hours! Eventually when
he stopped Jaws stammering like a lune, I asked what did you do? He replied
to tell the truth I am so tired I cannot remember the final tweek. he said
the only thing he could see was the cursor had widened. However at that
time Jaws not only stuttered h Jaws would read everything in sight.

I mean everything Robin, tapping control did not stop Jaws tapping 2
Controls didnot stop it. doing the "when all else fails. did not by which
I mean Alt andControl and tab to end task. I was at that time using Jaws
white Font and black screen, I needed a dark screen low lighted room, just
as I am using now. Jaws would not work that way you see Jaws and I was
using Xp and Jaws 4.51 however Jaws would do it even using 8. Jaws sees
white font black screen as highlighted text and that was the problem
I am now using Lunar with Jaws to colour the screen to inverse Mode so
Jaws can work in standard Mode.

I am not saying it is a piece of cake there some anomalies and Robin I am
sure you have noticed this. However I cannot only do mybest and it is a
work around. If your Jaws was stammering as mine did you would have foundit
a terrible problem sending a Post to the list. All the best

Dorothy.
