Go to:
1    Start > Control panel.
2    Open System and use the Jaws cursor to find out how much memory you have 
in the PC, if it is 256 it is really to low for a Windows XP machine, if higher 
and you have the problem you may need to look at what is running on the PC and 
see if you can trim the installation a bit.

  I am using JAWS 6.2 and XP Home. When I havve more than 2 programs runñiñg
  everything slows down, more so JAWS which even stops speaking or takes a
  lonng time to respond when a key is pressed. I get the Windows Virtual
  Memory Too Low message. Can anyone tell me why this is happening and wwhat I
