Just to inform anyone who is interested that Jaws 8.0 for Windows VISTA
has been posted by Freedom Scientific. Jaws 8.0 for VISTA has been posted as a
public beta release where you can report back issues for further development
and attention. Please take some time to read the notes before installing Jaws
on VISTA, there are for now some wrinkles to be ironed out. You can find

For those wondering about Windows XP and 2000 and what the upate feature in the
Jaws 8.0 "help" menu is for you can recieve the update through the Jaws update
mechanism. This update contains many fixes for users who choose not to update
to Windows VISTA:
