Make sure Adobe Reader has it's updates, I think we are up to 7.0.8, in truth I
haven't recently come accross a document that flatly doesn't read, so it's less
likely to be an update thing.
What you may have to watch out for though is that with Adobe Reader 7.0 it will
prompt you to go through a few settings before it processes untagged documents,
once this has been through once these settings will be used in future and you
will not have rthe initial problem with not having a document to read. If you
escape out of this dialogue screen you may not have processed the document to
go to Jaws.

Regards.

Subject: [jaws-uk] Jaws 7.0 with PDF Docs

I have recently acquired JFW 7.0 and have a PDF document which reads OK with
JFW 5.10 but will not read a thing with JFW 7. The document in question has
probably not been created with accessibility in mind but if 5.10 can read it,
I'd expect 7.0 to be able to as well. I'm using Windows 2000 and Adobe Reader
7. Are there any special scripts I need for JFW 7 for Adobe? Can anyone shed
any light on why this is happening?

  Cheers
  Chris
