First of all I would advise the user to write the whole letter or whatever
and then press f7 at the end to do a spell check. This means that you can
produce a document more quickly and be less likely to use the thread of what
you are doing. Not much of a help I know but I've never found the pointing
out errors as you type function that useful.

Hi
I have received a vague problem from a friend. I cannot physically get to
their PC to have a look for myself. They aren't very computer literate, so
can only give limited details of the issue and their set up. They are using
JAWS 7 and Windows XP with an old version of MS Office, but I am not sure
which.
I know this leaves a lot of unanswered questions, but I promised to ask on
their behalf, so no probs if we can't get any answers.
When typing in Word, JAWS used to announce misspelt word so they could make
changes. Now it just announces at the end of the line so many errors, but
gives no details of which words contain the errors.
This doesn't make sense to me, can anyone shed light on it?
