Robert,I use the standard version of Jaws and I am entitled to use three computers with a single licence.
Hope this answers your question. David -------------------------------------------------- From: "Robert Cummings" <robert.cummings760@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, February 25, 2010 4:15 PM To: <jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [jaws-uk] JAWS Licensing Question
Hi.On Wednesday, our Windows XP desktop was officially pronounced "dead" by a local computer shop due to a rather serious hardware problem. My Dad has ordered a new Windows 7 desktop which is due to be ready for collection on Saturday from the computer shop. He has also inquired about getting a laptop for me (the Lenovo ThinkPad x100ence). I currently do not have access to a computer at home and I use Hal on my school computer system, though that will require an upgrade to work with Windows 7.If my version of Hal is not upgraded by the time I get my desktop and laptop (which it probably won't be), i'll probably install the JAWS 11 demo. But I have a question, and this is just out of pure interest: If I was to purchase JAWS, by default, how many computers would I be allowed to install JAWS on? It would be a JAWS professional license because the laptop i'm getting will be running Windows 7 Professional (not sure about the desktop, but that'll probably be running either home premium or professional). If I can only install it on 1 of the 2 computers, would I have to pay the full price to get the other computer licensed to run JAWS?Just interested, Robert If you have Google Talk, then let's chat!
